After Cale Yarborough flipped his brand-new Chevy Monte Carlo during qualifying for the 1983 Daytona 500 (after setting a record lap) , the team pressed an old Pontiac LeMans showcar into service for the race and Cale still went on to win the race! 
Salvinos JR Models added a newly-tooled LeMans body to the classic Monogram 1980’s GM chassis to bring this kit to life for the first time ever in plastic!
